BDB appoints Farah Rabea as the Head of Digital Marketing


Bahrain Development Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Farah Ayad Rabea as the Head of Digital Marketing and a Member of the Executive Management Committee in the bank. This comes as part of the bank’s strategic plans towards digital transformation and evolving the marketing strategies and communication channels.

Farah Rabea brings with her extensive knowledge in the domain of Digital Banking and Marketing. Prior to joining BDB Farah was the Deputy Manager of Campaigns and Acquisition at ila Bank - Arab Banking Corporation. And before that she worked in the E-channels and Automation stream in Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait mainly focusing on the mobile systems and digitization projects.

Farah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with first class honors from the University of Bahrain, as well as several internationally accredited professional certifications in digital marketing and project management.

Mr. Sanjeev Paul, CEO of Bahrain Development Bank Group, commented and said: “Mrs. Farah Rabea’s appointment comes in line with our strategy to empower highly qualified Bahraini women in leadership positions during the bank’s journey towards digital transformation.
