Fisheries Loans

We offer loans for fisheries with 0% interest rate to assist them in purchasing new/used boats, engines, spare parts, fishing items or for maintenance. The maximum facility amount BHD 15,000

Who can apply:

• The applicant should be a Bahraini.
• The Applicant’s age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 55 years.
• The Applicant should hold a valid Fishing License issued by the Fish Wealth Directorate at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning

Required documents: (Upon review of the documents, further documents might be required)

• Application form
• Benefit form
• Copy of Smart Card & details
• Copy of Passport
• Bank statements for six months.
• Quotation for the purchase required.
• Copy of Fishing License.
• Copy of Boat registration certificate.
• Assignment/ Undertaking for salary transfer of employed fishermen.

For applications backed by Guarantors:

• Application form
• Benefit form
• Copy of Smart Card & details
• Copy of Passport
• Bank Account statements for the last six months of the guarantors.
• Salary certificate and/or financial statements
• Assignment/ Undertaking for Salary Transfer.
