Bahrain Development Bank Distributes 117 Ramadan Grocery Boxes for Families in Need

Manama, Bahrain – November 2024: Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), the leading financial institution supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingdom, recently distributed 117 Ramadan Grocery boxes to families in need. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Bahrain Food Bank and with the participation of over 40 employee volunteers from BDB. The boxes contained essential food and household items to ease the financial burdens on underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative reflects BDB’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy that focuses on giving back to the community and deliver positive societal impact. The Bank remains committed to fostering charitable efforts, particularly during Ramadan, to reinforce the values of generosity, compassion and solidarity.
