BDB Rowad is a comprehensive platform run out of the Development Services division of Bahrain Development Bank designed to assist and empower entrepreneurs in starting their business. The program aims to support entrepreneurs and startup eco-system by providing product and services at any stage of the business cycle starting as early as the idea stage.
The program’s objective is to foster the creation and development of enterprises and provide support to enhance the productivity and growth of enterprises and individuals by providing a holistic eco-system for entrepreneurs. The BDB Rowad Program offers a variety of solutions supporting the needs of entrepreneurs to help start or grow their business through theBDB Rowad Program, Seed-Fuel, and the Invested platform.
The Rowad Program offers a lot of solutions supporting the needs of entrepreneurs to help start or grow their business through the Rowad Essentials, Rowad Growth, Rowad SME Finance Package, and Rowad Affiliate Program
The package includes access to the pillars of the Rowad program which includes Coaching, Training, Mentoring, Funding, Partners, Networking Events, and Rowad Tools.
Seed Fuel Rowad is an entrepreneurial funding program by Bahrain Development Bank. It is a pioneer accelerator program in Bahrain, providing startups at seed and early stages with coaching, mentoring, and training, access to investors and networks, special startup services and perks, and up to BHD 25,000 in equity investment funding.
Seed Fuel-Rowad is part of the Global Accelerator Network (GAN) as a pioneer accelerator building startup communities.
Invested is an investor community platform established in 2016. The Invested Platform provides investors access to tools and knowledge to support them through their startup investment journeys. Invested has a growing investor population that includes angels, VCs, and corporates. Invested hosts educational events twice a year targeted to current angels and potential startup investors as part of the aim to further develop the startup eco-system pillars.
The Invested Platform is owned and managed by the development services division.
