Relationship Officer – Banking Division

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales experience / SME financing.
  • Responsible to achieve the targets and business objectives.
  • Ensure proper end use of funds and monitoring of the portfolio.
  • Follow up for timely repayments from the portfolio responsible.
  • Frame proper plan of action for periodic review & rating of the portfolio responsible and ensure adherence to the plan.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed corrective actions within the time frame agreed on observations on internal/external/CBB/NAC audit reports relating to the portfolio responsible.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable policies & procedures in addition to the Authority Matrix.

COMPETENCIES REQIURED

  • Bilingual - Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Proper understanding of the bank’s services and functions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Accounting or relevant professional qualification.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of sales experience or SME financing as a Relationship Officer in the banking sector.

Senior Officer / Assistant Manager – Operations

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the quality of daily processes is maintained at all times and all operational activities are carried out in compliance with regulations and laws governing business operations.
  • Responsible to escalate and seek solutions for any issues that may arise from time to time at the request of the Head of Operations.
  • Ensure all LC and LG transactions request are processed in compliance with the Bank’s operating policies and procedures.
  • Check, verify and authorize various operational processes including loans, restructuring loans, manager cheques, fixed deposits, financial transactions, money transfer, postdated cheques, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to the turn-around time of transactions outlined in the operational processes and as directed by the Head of Operations.
  • Utilize the core banking system in order to automate manual processes.
  • Ensure periodic Checking & control on account payable GL, account Receivable GL, cash margin GL, daily and monthly reports of activities processed by Operations Department are done, reports highlighting the operational effectiveness of the department.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • 7 years of operations experience in the banking sector.
